Baptism

We are excited about our upcoming baptism service on December 11th. If you have decided to take your next step through baptism you can sign up here.

If are still considering taking your next step through baptism we would love to talk with you and help answer any of the questions you might have. We have also created a resource which you can find here which answers a number of questions about baptism.

Invite

Christmas time is one of the easiest times of the year to invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to church. We have a number of great things planned and we don’t want anyone to miss out on this opportunity to invite people to experience Catalyst and hear the life changing message of Jesus. A fun new series, Christmas At The Movies, starts this Sunday. Will you invite at least 5 friends to Catalyst this Sunday?

Good Afternoon Catalyst! Here’s what’s going on at your church.

THANK YOU!!!!

Sunday, many of you brought back Thanksgiving boxes and/or donated towards creating more boxes. With your help we are able to feed over 500 people this Thanksgiving. We are grateful that so many of you are using your time and talents to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community. We look forward to hearing your stories as you continue to distribute your boxes.

Baptism

Many of you have made commitments to begin or renew your relationship with Christ this year and we know that some of you may be wondering what your next step is. If you have not yet been baptized this is your next step.

Our next baptism service will be on December 11th, you can sign up here to be baptized. If you still have some questions about baptism we have created a resource for you which can be found here.

We look forward to the opportunity to share in your faith story this December!

Good Afternoon Catalyst! Here’s what’s happening at your church.

Thanksgiving Outreach

Last year we had provided over 300 people a Thanksgiving meal. This year we are hoping thatYOU will help us impact even more lives!

Here’s how:

  1. On Sunday November 13th pickup an empty box (or boxes). Within each box there will be a list of items needed to fill the box with.
  2. Fill your box (or boxes) with the items we have listed.
  3. Bring your box (or boxes) with a complete meal for four back to Catalyst on Sunday November 20th.

We are excited to see how God will use you and our church to meet needs, melt hearts and make disciples through this Thanksgiving outreach.

Trunk-Or-Treat

We want to say thank you to everyone who provided a theme vehicle, we know that there was a ton of work that went into these vehicles and the details you incorporated were amazing! Along with the vehicles we had TONS of candy donated, which ensured that kids had a great time building memories at church that will last forever.

To everyone who donated AND prayed for this event, we want to say THANK YOU!

Pastor Appreciation

Rachel and I want to thank everyone for the cards, notes, and gift cards that were given to us throughout pastor appreciation month, and on Sunday. I was only slightly nervous when Father Nick started walking on stage!

It is an honor to be your pastor and we continue to be blown away by your generosity. Thank you for modeling Christ in every area of your life.

Full By Christmas

We would love to see both services full by Christmas, and we believe that an invite to Catalyst is one of the easiest invitations you will ever extend to someone.

Here are a few things you may not know:

  1. Most people come to church because of a personal invitation.
  2. Only 2% of church–going people invite someone to church in a given year. That means 98% of church–goers never extend an invitation in a given year!!
  3. 7 out of 10 unchurched people have never been invited to church in their whole lives.
  4. 82% of the unchurched are at least somewhat likely to attend church if invited.

Who have you invited to Catalyst this week? Invite a co-worker, a friend, a neighbor, a family member to join us at Catalyst this Sunday.

What’s up with this Nehemiah Project thing?

Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.”…They began good work…So the wall was completed in fifty-two days.

Nehemiah was called to restore the walls of Jerusalem and dared to ask God to show up in big ways. All around us we can see walls lying in ruin. Now our community cries out; people desperately searching for meaning and purpose. It’s time our generation begins to ask God to show up in big ways!

Catalyst Church is about to start our own journey. A journey of determination, restoration, and hope. “By ourselves we will not be able to rebuild” (Neh 4:10), we need your help.

This is a very pivotal time for our church, so we are going to be discussing the Nehemiah Project on three different dates. Don’t miss your opportunity to hear more about the Nehemiah Project. Here are the dates and times:

Tuesday, Aug 16th 6:30-7:30 ***No Childcare available for this date

  • Some of my children’s greatest memories are going to be of church. Thank you Catalyst Partners for helping to create a church that is far from ordinary!!!
  • I’m in awe that we have less than 150 tickets left in the Harley Raffle!
  • I’m hoping we sell around 100 on Sunday morning, better grab a few online right now
  • I can’t believe how much people have stepped up to make this all happen
  • I hope people don’t miss the opportunity to invite everyone they can
  • Excited to see the Mechanical Bull!!! We will also have some bounce houses, a bungie run, free food, family fun, and we are giving away a grill and flat panel TV!
  • Told you this was the easiest invite ever, still one day left to go all out and invite everyone you can think of
  • Hoping this event goes so well, people ask us to do it again next year. That would be a win. We still have people asking to do the Easter Egg Drop
  • Don’t forget to register online and skip the lines. With technology, you don’t have to print your ticket, you can just show it with your smart phone if you’d like to save a few trees
  • Who can you text or call, right now, to invite one more time to hang out this Sunday?
  • This is definitely going to be one of those “Remember when…” moments in the history of Catalyst. The greater the sacrifice, the greater the reward! We are finally starting to see some pretty significant sacrifice from more than just a couple of people. As God continues to change our hearts, he will use us to change our community! I can’t say thank you enough, or tell you how proud I am of our church!!!
