At Cinema Church, three things will grab our focus, time, energy and resources. The first is our Sunday morning worship service.

WHAT WE ARE AIMING FOR:

Sunday morning is like the Superbowl to us, EVERY SINGLE WEEK. We have one goal with Sunday morning: to create an environment where God is lifted up and people are excited to come back. We want people to be so excited to come back that they actually look forward to inviting their friends out! That’s it. If we do that, we see Sunday morning as a win. We understand that it is a journey. We fully realize that if people will continue to come back, the Holy Spirit will work in their hearts, and they will turn to Christ.

We value Sunday morning because, as your boy Eminem says, we have one shot. This is so true for churches. We never know who will show up. Perhaps a mom finally gets her drug addicted son to go to church. Perhaps a father finally gets his depressed child to church. Perhaps a husband, whose wife is contemplating divorce, finally gets her to church. Perhaps someone is at the end of their ropes. We have one shot to bring Gods grace to people. One shot, and we don’t want to miss our opportunity. Thats how we view every single Sunday! It is the most important time of the week. For our church, and hopefully the people of Cinema Church. Nothing is more important than people finding life in Christ, and what we do every single Sunday should reflect that fact.

HOW ARE WE DOING?

Honestly, of the three, this is probably the weakest of the three. New Creation showed us several areas that are desperately in need of going to a whole new level. I’ve had some great meetings and we are doing all we can to improve. Thanks to everyone who filled out a New Creation Evaluation! Your feedback is important to us!

However, our First Impact Team is killing it! If you were at New Creation, did you smell those bathrooms?!?!?! WOW! I have NEVER smelt a cleaner bathroom. This pumps me up. I love the attention to detail from the First Impact Team! They definitely are receiving the highest scores on our evaluation!

Maybe you were at New Creation. Perhaps you saw something that really ticked you off. Like maybe you cringed when you saw something. Im willing to bet that you are passionate about that area (music, video, welcoming, friendly, etc.). Im also willing to bet that perhaps God may be moving in your life and perhaps could be inviting you to help us launch Cinema Church. Would you consider helping us launch Cinema Church? Would you join us and do whatever it takes to help us make Sunday morning the craziest most contagious most important time of the week?

Evaluations are a core value of mine. It is so important to me that we are giving away $50 of free gas! If you would take about 2 minutes to fill out an evaluation form, YOU WILL BE ENTERED INTO A RANDOM DRAWING! We will give out:

Our goal, at Cinema Church, is to do three things to the very best of our ability. Three things will get our focus, time, energy and resources.

Could we do more? Yes! Will people want us to do more? Yes! Will people leave because we don’t do more? YES!

Our goal is NOT to be a buffet for fat lazy Christians to become fatter and more self consumed. We want people who are crazy about reaching the un-churched. We want people to join our launch team who will sacrifice some of their wants and desires… so that Cinema Church will have the ability to reach people who are currently disconnected from Jesus and the church.

If we focus on too many things, we wont do ANYTHING well. We will have people show up at Cinema Church, and it will just confirm their suspicions of what church is. We want to change the way people view church! By focusing on three things we will do these three things more effectively. By focusing on three things, and only three things, we WILL be more effective in connecting people to Christ!
